Luzene wanted an online portfolio that truly expressed her work and aesthetic.

I wanted the feeling and energy of Luzene’s art installations to jump off the page and impact the viewer, as closely as if they were actually in a museum viewing them.

An art exhibition display featuring red yarn arranged to resemble wounds and scars, accompanied by informational panels explaining the theme of traces and wounds.
A webpage about Native American women and their clothing, featuring a red floral dress and a large red floral cape or cloak displayed as art.

Luzene was ecstatic to see her new site and has had very positive feedback, particularly from museums and art galleries.

Other than the use of her thematic color: red, we kept things simple and visually ‘breathable’ with a balance of color, text, images, and white space.

Through the use of creative gallery sections with high resolution images, plus clean information architecture, it supports an ‘art gallery’ vibe.
