CASE STUDY: RADIATIONIMPACT.ORG

The Generational Radiation Impact Project (GRIP) leads a global effort to bring gender-specific insights into radiation safety. Women are twice as likely to develop radiation-related cancer, yet this crucial fact is missing from most regulations. They aim to change that by conducting groundbreaking research, educating the public, and advocating for policy change.

This non-profit website, originally built in 2018, has stood the test of time!

GRIP Founder, Mary Olson, is a biologist and policy analyst, and has presented her research on radiation multiple times at the United Nations.

The site is text heavy–full of articles, research links and lots of information–therefore, the challenge was to present all this information in an accessible and ‘un-heavy’ way, as well as make it feel accessible for potential donors.

“Vanessa is a top notch designer--thanks in large part to her sharp artist's eye. She is the chief creator of our nonprofit website, built in 2018; its clarity in structure, crisp layout and durability of content has stood the test of time! I highly recommend V Bell Design.”
